Lumi Gruppen and its companies takes Corporate Social Responsibility seriously with policies in line with the UN Global Impact principles for responsible business, strong code of contact, ESG scan for material issues and clear lines of reporting and responsibility.
Reduced inequalities
Sonans provides charitable donations to Baan Chivit Mai (BCM), an organization in Northern Thailand which gives refugee children from Myanmar and Laos, in high-risk situations, a home and the opportunity to receive an education. ONH is part owner of a study centre in Tanzania which supports homes for the elderly, centres for mental health and families living in poverty.
Climate Impact Management
Lumi Gruppen sets reduction targets in relation to travel costs and since 2019 has included requirements to landlords in lease agreements to reduce energy rise.
